If you are rendering over the lintel, we recommend the Buda Render Bar (slotted version) to ensure the render adheres correctly to the steel. If a Buda Render Bar is unavailable, you should use chicken or vermin wire over the Buda Bar face of the steel to help the render grip the surface.
