We supply five core ranges.
Every product is listed with live pricing, live stock levels, full specifications and drawings, so orders can be placed directly through the website.
The correct drain is determined by the traffic that will pass over it.
If you are unsure of the requirement, our grate configurator will size and specify the job for you. The complete grates and drains range is also available to browse.
Two factors determine the correct lintel.
The finish. Face brick lintels have no penetrations and are used where the brickwork is the finished surface. Where the wall is to be rendered, the options are a render bar or a concrete lintel. Render bars are perforated on the underside, allowing the render to key in and through the bar. Concrete lintels have a coarse finish that the render adheres to.
The wall. A single skin of brickwork is supported by a lintel or angle. Cavity and double brick walls require a T-bar.
Bearing requirements are determined by the span. Openings up to 1200mm require a minimum bearing of 100mm on each side. Openings greater than 1200mm require a minimum bearing of 150mm on each side. The full lintels and T-bars range is available online.
Heelguard is our most architectural pattern and the safest underfoot. It is pedestrian, pet and child friendly, and its narrow aperture prevents leaves and debris from entering the stormwater system.
Maxi Heelguard offers the same performance in a contemporary profile.
Traditional has a wider aperture, delivering higher water flow at the most competitive price point.
Builders Guard is an economical Heelguard variation.
Selection should be based on the location of the drain and the traffic passing over it. All patterns can be compared across the grates and drains range.
Yes. Our grates and drains range covers both external and internal applications.
External applications include driveways, pools, balconies, gardens and pathways. Internal applications include bathrooms, showers and kitchens.
The range is manufactured in stainless steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and plastic, in Heelguard, Lines and Tile Insert patterns. Custom fabrication is also available.
We stock sheet metal door frames in non-rated and fire-rated profiles to suit stud, brick, block and Dincel walling systems, together with solid core doors, fire rated doors, hinges and door hardware. The full range is available under doors and frames.
To place an order we require three details: the walling system, the door size, and the handing. Not sure what you need? Get a quote and our team will specify it with you.
Our building supplies range covers the consumables and accessories required to keep brickwork progressing, including slip joint, damp proof course, flashing, wall ties, weepas, Bondek, Malthoid, temporary handrails and general site hardware.
Our products are designed to Australian Standards, and independent test reports are available across much of our range.
This includes our load-rated grates, tested to AS 3996:2019 from Class A through to Class D, along with our pit grates, lintels and T-bars, temporary handrails and a range of our building supplies.

The majority of our grates and drains range, along with our lintels and T-bars, is manufactured by us. These products have been tested and refined over 69 years, across three generations of the family.
