Hinged and lockable, these grates and frames are a stylish and affordable option that can be used in a range of applications. Those larger sizes are double hinged and lockable for ease of access.
All of these heelguard grate sizes are Anti-Slip tested to Australian standards AS 3996: 2019.

Yes. Maintenance is straightforward—simply use water and a soft-bristled broom to clear away any debris. To protect the product’s lifespan, avoid using abrasives, as these can damage the hot-dip galvanising and expose the steel to corrosion. A regular, gentle wash-down is all that is required.
Yes, we supply these as complete grate and frame sets. This ensures the Budaguard™ grate sits perfectly flush with your concrete or pavers, eliminating trip hazards.
There is a removable bolt. Once removed, you can easily use a hook to hinge them open for access to the pit underneath.
