    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It depends on span requirements and whether you need to maintain a cavity. T-Bars are commonly used for larger spans and are designed to support both internal and external brick skins simultaneously (such as 230mm solid brick walls). However, when the opening is on the exterior of the building’s footprint, and there is a habitable area internally, maintaining a cavity is critical to prevent water ingress. In these situations, separate Angle Bars are preferred, as each skin is supported independently and a drainage cavity is maintained between them. T-Bars do not provide a cavity separation, as the section connects both skins structurally.
The L-Shaped Angle Bar (Buda Bar). It is the most popular of the residential building industry, used over the vast majority of standard window and door openings.
Yes, we provide R3 protection as standard. This is essential for ensuring that no matter the shape, your steel will remain rust-free and structural for the life of the building.
We offer same-day or next-day delivery within the Sydney Metro. Vincent Buda and Company maintains high stock levels across every shape we list for immediate dispatch.
