BudaPave™ Tile Insert Pit Cover - Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel pave in grate and frame allows you to create that "hidden" look, allowing you to tile or fill the grate part of the product to disguise a pit or accessible point underneath. The stainless steel finish gives you that high end finish while still being discrete.
This product is available in 4 different sizes:
- 300mm x 300mm x 35mm deep
- 450mm x 450mm x 35mm deep
- 600mm x 600mm x 35mm deep
- 900mm x 900mm x 50mm deep
- The 900mm x 900mm version includes the tops being supplied in 2 pieces with a support bar down the middle underneath the trays to provide additional support. The support bar is removable and is only to allow for support beneath the 2 equal tops.
Popular for use around pools areas and above skimmer boxes.
This product has 4 small access points (one in each corner) to assist with lifting the grate out of the frame once installed. This product is supplied with lifting tools to assist with taking the grate out of the frame.
Please note: this product does not have a lip around the grate to collect water and is commonly used as an access panel.

Our trays accommodate up to 20mm pavers. They are designed to fit standard porcelain tiles as well as thicker natural stone, ensuring the finished surface is perfectly level with the surrounding floor.
Pit covers sit flush with the ground and are exposed to soil moisture, fertilisers, and in many cases, salt air. 316 stainless has the molybdenum content that resists that kind of ongoing exposure → 304 can discolour over time in those conditions.
These pit covers include lifting hooks, which are used to assist in lifting the top out of the frame. The larger sizes may need more than one person to lift once tiled.
