Stainless Steel Shower Drain - Tile Insert
TILE INSERT SHOWER DRAINS
Made from 304 stainless steel. Our linear tile insert shower drains are sold in standard lengths. Sold as a fully welded unit, our drains are the easy drop in solution for your bathroom.
Our shower drain bases have folds in the base to allow for water flow directly to the outlet. This excludes our DIY outlet and custom position outlet shower drains as they don't have folds towards the outlet, but they have a pressed V in the base but not towards any direction.
Please also note for lengths longer than 1500, the tops may be supplied in 2 pieces.
Tile Insert/Tile Infill Shower Drains
Our tile insert pattern is available in 100mm wide x 30mm deep and 70mm wide x 25mm deep.
Outlet Positioning

On our 70mm wide drains the outlet is 50.8 OD. Outlet is in either the centre or no outlet with DIY outlet (50mm outlet supplied loose).

On our 100mm wide drains the outlet is 50.8 OD. Outlet is in either the centre, end of the drain (50mm from end to centre) or no outlet with DIY outlet (50mm outlet supplied loose).
Custom Drains
When a standard shower grate won't work, we can modify an existing shower grate to suit your needs.

The advantages of our stainless steel heelguard include:
- 3mm Wedge Wire with 4mm Aperture
- 5mm (x20mm deep) edge bar all the way around the grate - eliminating any sharp edges
- Cross bars every 25mm, not touching base of drain the base of the drains allowing plenty of water flow

The tray depth internally is up to 19mm deep (100mm Wide variant) and is designed for tiles up to 18mm thick plus adhesive. This accommodates the majority of modern porcelain and ceramic tiles used in Australian bathrooms.
Yes, via the perimeter slot. The technical design ensures that the gap around the tile tray is sufficient to handle shower discharge.
No, it is a simple lift-out design. Simply use our Grate Lifting Tool to access the internal outlet, keeping it free from debris. We also sell stainless steel removable strainers to help prevent blockages and make maintenance simple and easy.
