Mini-Heelguard™- Galvanised Heelguard Grate and Channel
Made from fully hot dip galvanised steel, our Galvanised grate is heelproof and includes a grate and channel. Sold in standard lengths with end caps, joiners and outlets included! There is no cut out in the base for the outlet position allowing you to cut out its location wherever you require it.
Available in 1000mm, 1500mm and 3000mm long lengths, it includes a grate and channel in either 1000mm or 1500mm long with no lock down mechanism.
Each length sold includes an accessories pack with 2 end caps, 1 joiner and 1 x 65mm outlet. These DIY kits make it simple and easy to install in any application
This grated drain is suitable for pedestrian use only this drain is suitable for external applications and is a cost-effective substitute for our Plastic base SS top drain and channel.

We also sell Hex Head Screws and Screw Bits as an accessory option. The Hex Head Screws are sold in a pack of 25 screws and we also have a drill bit to suit the screws. Typically 1 pack of screws installs up to 6 accessories.
Cold galvanising spray is a convenient spray suitable for coating steel and galvanised product. Typically when our box grates are cut down, it leaves the edge exposed. We recommend spraying the ends with a cold galvanising spray. Available for purchase in 400g spray can.

Yes, it’s a modular system. Sections can be joined together and are sealed with silicone for a watertight finish. The kit includes all necessary accessories to create a straight, seamless run with no specialist tools required.
No, if maintained correctly. These are Hot-Dip Galvanised (R3), not pre-galvanised, which provides a corrosion-resistant zinc barrier. See the maintenance guide - click here.
