Civil Concrete Pit Risers provide an effective solution for enhancing the depth of stormwater and gully pits in areas with wheel loads up to Class D. Designed specifically for this purpose, our precast concrete risers facilitate depth increase without the need for excavation or disruption to existing infrastructure, saving both time and money.

The additional depth these risers offer allows for greater flexibility in meeting drainpipe depth requirements. Available in various sizes, Civil Concrete Pit Risers are compatible with standard pit bases and easily extend the height of standard pits.

With our extensive range of Civil Cast products, we offer next-day delivery within the Sydney Metro for any orders processed before 12pm. We have 2 delivery options on offer:

Option 1: Customer off load - this delivery option is for customers who have access to both facilities and machinery available on-site in order to assist in offloading the truck. (no HIAB required)

Option 2: Hiab Delivery option - Alternatively, if you do not have access to any kind of machinery on site, we can provide a truck that will come with a HIAB to assist with offloading the goods from the truck. This option is perfect for customers who don’t have access to facilities to help with offloading goods from the truck, our truck does all the hard work for you!

Please note that Hiab truck deliveries can only unload materials within the front or back yard boundary. We cannot guarantee placement in an exact location or the ability to lift materials above the ground floor (first floor or higher) due to various constraints.

Due to safety, please ensure the correct of the above 2 options is selected based on your requirements. If delivery can't be completed—due to lack of machinery or delays exceeding 15 minutes—a re-delivery fee will apply.

Yes. Concrete pit risers are designed to be modular, allowing you to stack multiple units to achieve the required pit height. For deeper installations, Vincent Buda and Company recommends confirming the setup with your site engineer or hydraulic plans to ensure proper soil stability and backfilling.

The most common method is to use non-shrink grout, mortar, or high-strength epoxy between the pit and riser. This creates a tight, stable joint that prevents groundwater from entering the stormwater pit and stops surrounding soil from washing into the system.

No. Civil concrete pit risers are manufactured to match the structural strength of the pit itself. When properly installed and backfilled, the riser maintains the load capacity and durability of the complete stormwater pit system.

Match the riser to the internal pit dimensions. For example, a 600mm × 600mm stormwater pit requires a 600mm × 600mm riser. At Vincent Buda and Company, we stock matching Civil pit risers for all standard sizes, available for next day delivery within Sydney Metro.
