Weep holes are essential for allowing cavity walls to "breathe" and drain moisture, but they are also an entry point for pests and embers. At Vincent Buda and Company, we provide Weepas—the industry-leading solution for protecting these openings. Our weep hole covers are designed to allow air and water to pass through while blocking out mice, cockroaches, and dangerous embers during a bushfire. They provide a professional finish to your brickwork, replacing the ugly "open" look of standard weep holes. Builders rely on Weepas to meet the strict BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) requirements of modern Australian building codes. Whether you are building in a high-risk fire zone or simply want a pest-free home, Weepas are an essential finishing touch. Every Weepa product is ready for same day or next day delivery.

    Four Primary Applications for Weepas:

Bushfire Zones: Meeting BAL-40 and BAL-FZ requirements for weep hole protection.
Pest Prevention: Keeping rodents and insects out of your home's wall cavity.
New Home Construction: Providing a professional, finished look to face brickwork.
Retrofitting Older Homes: Easily installing covers into existing weep holes for better safety.

    Why choose our Weepas?

Safety Compliant: Designed to meet strict Australian bushfire safety standards.
Pest Proof: High-quality mesh that keeps the nasties out of your walls.
Aesthetic Finish: Available in multiple colours to match your brick or mortar perfectly.
Fast Delivery: We ship orders out the same day or next day to keep your job moving.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

It’s not ideal to install Weepas after the brickwork has been completed. They are designed to be installed during the bricklaying process, placed directly into the mortar joints as the wall is built. Installing them afterward is possible; however, you risk there not being enough room to fit them properly or, alternatively, there being too much space, which can cause them to fall out. For the best result, Weepas should be installed while the brickwork is being laid.
No, they are engineered for airflow. They maintain the necessary ventilation to keep your wall cavity dry while providing a physical barrier against pests and embers.
We stock versions that meet up to BAL-FZ (Flame Zone). This ensures your home is protected even in the most severe bushfire conditions.
We offer same-day or next-day delivery in the Sydney Metro. Vincent Buda and Company keeps stock of all Weepa varieties for immediate dispatch.
