STAINLESS STEEL GRATES AND DRAINS MAINTENANCE

Stainless steel is a highly durable steel, however, they require regular maintenance and cleaning to prevent tea staining and prolong its life.
To clean our stainless grates, it is recommended the grates are removed periodically (approximately every three to six months), remove any debris or foreign particles and clear out the channel.
This will ensure the grates do not stain.

PVD coated grates should not be pressure washed.

Should any tea staining occur, it is recommended that they are cleaned using a stainless steel cleaner and a soft non-metallic scourer.
The use of WD40 also prevents discolouration.

It is suggested that Chemron's Stainless Steel Cleaner and Stainless Steel Polish is used to clean and maintain your grates and drains.
The polish should be used as per it's directions on the side of the bottle.
